Our Mission

The mission, of the MI Robotics Booster Club, is to raise funds in support of the Mercer Island Schools’ robotics program, and related activities, of the MIHS Robotics Team (MIRobotics). This includes MIRobotics’ participation in competitions such as the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), promoting STEM education, and encouraging student aspirations of STEM-related careers.

Through fundraising and donations, the Club will offer aid for the acquisition of: equipment, tools, supplies, rental/operating costs, and provide scholarships for travel and/or lodging expenses for students who would otherwise be unable to attend competitions, to further the inclusion of students of any economic means, and to provide resources for the recruitment and inclusion of students who are underrepresented minorities.
